Also, the cookout on Saturday will be held at Jefferson Manor Park, 2909 Farmington Drive, Alexandria, VA 22310. At the park, there are bathrooms, a small playground, and a basketball court! Please notify each other via email, or this webpage, if you plan to bring a dish/item/condiment to the cookout. If you do not plan to bring anything, let us know if you are volunteering to be on the cleanup crew, so that we can leave the park in the exact condition that we found it in.
Since parking is limited, there is an adjoining street available for parking, right past the turn for Franconia Rd. Instead of turning left on Franconia Rd from Telegraph Rd, turn left into the neighborhood on Marl Pat Drive, then left on Dewey Road, which leads to the rear side of the park and you will find additional parking.
